CEL is equipped with a comprehensive range of modern analytical equipment, and operates with two first-class Sections: Chemistry and Biology.

Chemistry laboratory is divided into the following major four subsections: Organic analyses lab, Heavy Metals analysis lab, Spectrophotometric analysis lab, Wet chemistry lab.

Biology laboratory is divided into the following major three subsections: Microbiology lab, Ecotoxicology lab, Macrobenthos lab
